Law 4 - The Player's Equipment

 

  1. If a player, following doctor's orders, protects his elbow or any similar part of his body with a bandage to prevent further injury, has the referee the power to decide if the bandage constitutes a danger to the other players?


    Yes

     

  2. If, due to a collision with an opponent, a player loses a shoe and immediately scores a goal, is the goal valid or not?


    Yes. The player did not intentionally play barefoot, but lost his shoe by accident.

     

  3. If the colour of the shirts of the two goalkeepers is the same, what should the referee do if neither has another shirt to change into?


    The referee allows play to begin.

     

  4. May a referee allow a player wearing glasses to play in a match?


    If, in the opinion of the referee, the glasses are dangerous to the player himself, or to an opponent, he does not allow the player to take part in the match.
