Year 1
·
survey all 97 registered women within Durham Region to see
what their needs are in the area of development. (education, training,
mentoring, assessments etc)
·
begin planning modules according to the response from the
women
·
will send information about grade 3 clinic to all eligible
females and follow up on each of them
·
contact club head referees to identify which female referees
should be targeted for upgrading
Year 2
·
any female over the age of 16 will be contacted by mid
season and encouraged to consider taking the grade 3 clinic in the fall
·
have education sessions for them to get them ready (either
as a single gender group or with all grade 3 hopefuls)
·
contact club head referees to identify which female referees
should be targeted for upgrading
·
have at least 10 females sit the grade 3 exam
·
have regular training sessions as a group according to need
Year 3
·
same as year 2
·
have at least another 10 females sit the grade 3 exam
·
begin identifying (through assessments/mentoring) which
females should consider developing for grade 2 clinics
Year 4
·
same as year 3
·
have 15 or more females sit the grade 3 exam
·
have 2-3 women sit the grade 2 exam
·
ensure that females looking for upgrading receive the games
necessary for assessment and development
Year 5
·
same as year 4
·
have another 2-3 women sit the grade 2 exam
·
set-up a mentoring system using the females who have
upgraded to help other young female referees
